SoCal ~ via Las Vegas
2023 is off to a fun start. I spent some time seeing all the cool stuff around Las Vegas, then took a roundabout trip through SoCal that took me to Los Angeles, Slab City, The Salton Sea, Bombay Beach, San Diego, and ended the trip in Tijuana. It was a blast. He are a few of my favorite pictures from the trip.

Downtowns & Deserts
Chinatown, DTLA ~ 4:30am
On my second to last day in Los Angeles, I was having a hard time getting to sleep, so I got out early to start shooting. These are some of my all time favorite pictures.
Slab City
I stopped in Slab City for an afternoon to explore. If you're not familiar, it's an old garbage dump that is now inhabited by artists, ministers, "free spirits", and some junkies too. This is what it looks like close up.
